Renault SAS has now announced that R5 Turbo 3E's will be produced at a price of €160,000 ex-factory.

To own your own R5 Turbo 3E in Australia, in addition to paying the ex-factory price of €160,000, the cost of transport of the vehicle from France to Australia, import duty, Australian luxury car tax and GST, state registration and insurance fees will be payable on top.

The release of the 1,980 vehicles is being tightly managed worldwide by Renault SAS, and Renault SAS requires that a non-refundable down payment of €45,000 be paid to secure a production slot.
